Jacqueline Addessi Hibbard "Jackie" died Thursday, January 28. She was preceded in death by Jack, with whom she shared 64 years of marriage. As a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church she served as Eucharistic Minister and took eucharist to the homebound. She was a member of the Ladies Guild and Rosary Altar Society. Jackie was an active alumnae of CCHS, Friends of the Arts, 4 County DON Association, Mercy Hospital Alumnae association, and Lebanese American Association where she was president and trustee for many years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lucille Namey Addessi and John Anthony Addessi, her only brother Eugene Addessi, and nephew Dana Addessi. Jack and Jackie were blessed with 10 children – Susan (Dan) Jajczyk of Colorado, Cynthia (Sam) Sliman and Diane (Kevin) Thompson of Canton, Kathleen (Rob) Thomas of West Virginia, John (Leslie) Hibbard of Virginia, Karen (Michelle) Hibbard and Janice (Shelly) Hibbard of Canton, David (Charlie) Hibbard of New York, Mary (Lou) Serapiglia of North Canton, and Michael (Marrie) Hibbard of Colorado; 26 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren. Besides her immediate family, she is survived by nephews and niece Dale, Debbie, and Danny Addessi. Family and friends will meet on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial with The Very Reverend John Sheridan, STL and Fr. Benson Okpara as Concelebrants. The Mass will be live streamed at www.facebook.com/stpetercanton. Private burial will be in St. Peter Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Canton Central Catholic High School in Jackie's name.
