James O. Cline, age 70, died Wednesday in Florence, Kentucky. Born in East Liverpool, Ohio he had lived in Youngstown most of his life moving to Florence, Kentucky recently. He was a 1973 graduate of Youngstown State University with a BS in Music Education. He then taught music at the Columbiana School District, Cardinal Mooney High School and Brookfield High School, directed two church choirs, was a former store manager for the Stambaugh Thompson Co. and finished his career working for the Church Offering Envelope Co. He enjoyed music, yardwork, amusement parks and his family. Survived by his wife, Peggy Cline of Florence, KY, sons, Fr. Brian Cline of Canton and Scott Cline of Morgantown, WV, grandson, Patrick Cline of Morgantown, WV and a brother, John (Phyllis) Cline of Oakpark, IL. Preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Dorothy Cline and daughter-in-law, Angela Cline. Family and friends may call Tuesday from 3-5 p.m. at Saint Joan of Arc Catholic Church followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 5 p.m. with his son as celebrant. Private entombment will be in the Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Saint Joan of Arc School.
