James V. Edick

James V. Edick passed away October 5, 2021 in Canton, Ohio of cancer. Jim was born on the 29th of March 1947 to Vincent W. and Betty K (Foraker) Edick in Canton, Ohio. He retired from the Timken Company, Accounting Department in July of 1996 after more than 30 years of service. He spent countless hours in his rose garden, on genealogy research and was always ready to travel. Preceded in death by his wife of 25 years, Joanne (Streblo) on June 21, 1996, his father on February 25, 1984 and mother on October 12, 2000. Survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Jill and Benjamin Vogel and granddaughter, Isabella "Belle" Joanne Vogel all of Canton. Friends may call Saturday from 8:30-930 a.m. at the Lamiell Funeral Home followed by a service at 9:30 a.m. with Father Edward Beneleit officiating. Burial will be in North Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers his wishes are for memorials be sent to the beautiful Basilica of Saint John the Baptist of Canton Restoration Fund.
