James R. Schneider

James R. Schneider, 63, long-time resident of North Canton, Ohio, and former resident of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, passed away suddenly on July 29, 2022, in his home in North Canton. "Jimmy" was born in Akron, Ohio, grew up in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1977. "Jim" was a wonderful husband to his darling wife Nancy, a loving stepfather and grandfather, and an avid dog lover. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He was a gentle man with a peaceful, giving spirit. He battled many health afflictions in his latter years, but never allowed them to impact his ability to love and care for his wife and family. Jim also had a lifelong passion for the Cleveland Indians, which prepared him well for life's various challenges. Jim is survived by wife Nancy Schneider (North Canton, OH), stepsons Fred and Sam Cantor (Indianapolis, IN), stepdaughter Heather Thomas (Buffalo, NY), brother Robert Schneider (Sedona, AZ), niece Lauren Tenkely (Mesa, AZ), nephew Brandon Schneider (Eureka, CA) and his sweet dog Lucy. Jim was preceded in death by father Henry Schneider (2015) and mother Betty Jane Schneider (1974). Please donate to your favorite animal protection charity in Jim's memory. Rest in peace, Jim.
