Jean E. Streb

January 14, 1925 — July 20, 2021

Jean E. Streb, age 96, died Tuesday. She was a life resident of Canton, member of Saint Paul Catholic Church, Member of Delta Sigma Kappa Sorority, Stark County Women's Auxiliary of Stark Association of Plumbing, Heating and Cooling Contractors, former Eucharistic Minister at Mercy Medical Center, High School CCD teacher at the Basilica of Saint John the Baptist, charter member of the Diocesan Board of Catholic Charities, Canton Women's Club and golfed in leagues at Skyland Pines and Bob-O-Link. Preceded in death by her husband, William Streb and brothers, Carroll, Donald, Fr. Virgil CPPS, Thurman and Frank Moegling. Survived by her daughters, Kay (Herman) Dieckmann, Jennifer (R. Kelly) Brezger, Barbara (Charles) Perme, Joanne (William) Upton and Karen (Rod) Snyder and grandchildren, Brian, Patrice, Heather and Jonathan Dieckmann, Stuart and Lauren Brezger, Daniel and Stephen Perme, Ian Andrew, and Abigail Upton, Tyler Wallace, and seven great grandchildren. Family and friends will meet on Saturday at 10 a.m. at Saint Paul Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial with Father Brian Smith as celebrant. Burial will be in Saint John Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Bethany Hospice, 400 Holiday Drive, Foster Zero, Suite 101, Pittsburgh, PA 15220.
