Jean Louise Thomas, lifelong Canton, Ohio resident, passed away on June 14, 2025, with her family by her side. She was born January 22, 1939, to parents, Carl and Zelda (Phillips) Saylor who preceded her in death, as well as her brother, James Saylor.
   
  
Known for her care and compassion for others, she was always there for support without judgement and always offered a shoulder to lean on. She enjoyed shopping, clocks, shoes and purses. More than anything, she enjoyed the simple pleasures in life and spending time with her family.
   
  
Jean's legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of her survivors; her husband of 69 years, Richard "Jim" Thomas; daughter, Jodi Clark (Kirk Babb); sons, David Thomas, Carl Thomas (Melanie Holdren); grandchildren, Jackie Gravila (Andrew Melnyk) and Anthony Clark (Morgan French); and great-grandchildren, Kaiden Mollohan, Kamden Melnyk, Aaliyah and Aliana Clark.
   
  
Guests will be received at Lamiell Funeral Home, 1353 Cleveland Avenue, NW on Thursday, June 26, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A Memorial Service will follow at 12:00 PM.
