JIMMIE L. HOLMES

Jimmie L. Homles, passed away on May 19, 2024, at his home in Massillon. He was 65. Born in Akron, Ohio on April 21, 1959, he was the son of Donald and Janet (Mason) Holmes, who preceded him in death. Together with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn and son, Shaun.

As a young man, he learned to work hard. He was a self-employed driver in the trucking industry, which he enjoyed tremendously, hauling asphalt. He was a good husband and father, always providing for his family. He was an honest, strong, and good man.

Jimmie is survived by his son, Nathan of Massillon; sisters, Jeanette (Rick) Menegay of Ecuador, Annette (John) Smith of Navarre, Dawn (Bryan) Bunnell; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In honoring Jimmie's wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Lamiell Funeral Home was entrusted with Jimmie's care and privileged to assist his family during this tender time. Please share your condolences with the family.
