Joann L. Bertsch

Joann L Bertsch, passed away peacefully at age 85 on August 23. Born in Canton to Joseph and Leone Conrad. A graduate of Central Catholic High School and attended Canton Business School. She worked all of her career and retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield. She was a charter member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. Proceeded in death by husband, William; sister and brother-in-law, Caroline and Dennis Spragg; Survived by son, Joe (Kathy) Bertsch; daughter, Susan (James) Richardson; grandchildren, Emily Bertsch, Sarah (Brian) Putka, Joseph (Andrea) Bertsch; great-grandchildren, Liam, Grant and Brynlee Bertsch; brother-in-law, Charles Bertsch; niece, Mary Ann (John) Sponseller; nephew, Christopher (Candace) Spragg; and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at Lamiell Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church with Father Donald King as celebrant. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
