Joann enjoyed a life filled with simple pleasures and meaningful pursuits.

Joann Todd, 90, passed away unexpectedly in the comfort of her home on August 25, 2026. While her family is saddened by her sudden passing, they take comfort in knowing she lived a long, active, and fulfilling life.

Born on April 16, 1936, in Canton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Herbert Kline and Lucille (Luli) Kline. In addition to her parents, Joann was preceded in death by her beloved son, John Todd Jr.

A graduate of Lehman High School, Joann began her career with The Timken Company. She later worked for Time Warner Cable, from which she retired in 2005.

Joann enjoyed a life filled with simple pleasures and meaningful pursuits. She loved reading, traveling, and cooking for family and friends. She was also devoted to her exercise and yoga, which she faithfully maintained throughout her life and credited as a contributor to her longevity and well-being.

Her family is saddened by her sudden passing, but they take comfort in knowing she lived a long, active, and fulfilling life.

She leaves behind her loving family, including her son, Jay Todd of Marietta, Georgia; grandchildren, Nicklaus Todd and Riley Todd, both of Marietta, Georgia, and Jessica Todd of Canton, Ohio; and her sister, Kathy Wright of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

In keeping with Joann's wishes, no public visitation or funeral services will be held.
