JOEL D. PIERSON

Joel D. Pierson, age 40, of Canton, died Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2022. He was born July 1, 1982 in Canton, to Carolyn Sue (Fisher) Pierson of Canton and the late Arthur Pierson.

He worked in the plastics industry, most recently for Charter Next Generation of Canton. He was very artistic and loved to draw.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by four uncles, Robert, David and Mark Fisher, Tim Pierson; three aunts, JoEllen Miller, Sandra Ramsey, Lois Smith; and many cousins and their children. He is preceded in death by his father, and grandparents, Paul and Alma Pierson, Frederick and Helen Fisher; uncle, Dwayne Pierson; and aunt, Joyce Estep.

Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00 am at Lamiell Funeral Home, with Father Edward Beneleit officiating. A luncheon will follow at noon at the Canton Regency. Burial will be at Mount Olivet Catholic Church Cemetery, in Caldwell on Monday, at 3:00 pm. Calling hours will be Sunday 2:00-4:00 pm at Lamiell Funeral Home.
