Joetta May (Brownfield) Slusser, age 74, died Friday after a long illness. Born in Jerusalem, Ohio she had lived in Jackson Township most of her life and was retired from the Hoover Company after 30-plus years. Joetta's passions in life were her husband and her flower garden. Survived by her Husband, Daniel Joseph Slusser of the home, sisters, Janet Huffman of Jerusalem and Janell Huffman of Dublin, brothers and sisters-in-law, John Jr. and Sharon Huffman, Jeff Huffman, Joey Huffman and Jay Huffman all of Jerusalem and Sharon Zastudil of Jackson Township and many nieces and nephews including her Godson, Dustin McVicker. Preceded in death by her mother, Midge Brownfield. Services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the Lamiell Funeral Home with Minister Lance Lindenberger officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Monday from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Saint Jude Children's Hospital or the Wounded Warrior Project.
