John B. Calhoun

John B. Calhoun, age 84, died Monday, February 14, 2021. He was a life resident of Canton, McKinley High School graduate and retired as a Master Chief Petty officer from the U.S. Navy and then worked and retired from the Canton City Schools. Survived by his wife of 60 years, Nancy (Hall) Calhoun, sons, John (Toni) Calhoun Jr. of San Diego, California and Desmond Calhoun of Massillon and a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, James and Rosa Calhoun, sisters, Ruth Plummer and Mary Spicer and brothers, John, Sam, James and Joseph Calhoun. Services are private with burial in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
