John Comsia

John Comsia passed away March 14, 2016 at his home. John was born in Canton to the late Thomas and Julia Comsia and had been a lifelong Canton resident. John retired from Berger Manufacturing Company after early 40 years of service. He was a World War II Army veteran, Master Sergeant with the 1362 Military Police Aviation Company serving in the Asiatic Pacific theater. He was an avid bowler, golfer and sports enthusiast. John was inducted in to the Greater Canton Bowlers Hall of Fame in 2000. He was a member of the Croatia Fraternal Union Lodge 514, VFW Post 3747 and United Steel Workers Local 1200. Preceded in death by his wife, Florence, parents, three brothers, Samuel, Andrew and Thomas Comsia and two sisters, Bette Hart and Margaret McIntyre Survived by daughter, Mary Margaret, grandsons, James T. and Michael, granddaughter, Tiffany and many loving nieces and nephews. Services are private with burial in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
