John E. Haupt, Iii

John Egan Haupt, III, passed away on September 1, 2022 after an extended illness. He was born in Canton, Ohio on January 7, 1978. John is survived by, wife, Jeri L. Richard, children, Joseph Haupt and Lillian Haupt, parents, John E. Haupt and Anna Belinda Haupt, siblings, James Haupt (Chelsie), Max Haupt (Lindsay),And Mary Haupt, uncle, James W Haupt ( Kathy), aunts, Jill Haupt-Schultz ( Ric), Dr. Kathy M. Haupt, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. John graduated from Canton Central Catholic High School in 1997and attended Miami University of Ohio on a baseball scholarship. John was preceded in death by his brother Joseph William (Billy) Haupt and Uncle Jeffrey D. Haupt. He will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, his remarkable pitching and many more gifts. We will never stop missing and mourning our tragic loss. We are blessed he will be with his brother Billy waiting to greet him. God bless him always. Family and friends will meet on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. at the Basilica of Saint John the Baptist for a Mass of Christian Burial with the Very Reverend John Sheridan, STL-Rector as celebrant. Friends may call Friday, September 23, 2022 from 6-8 p.m. at the Lamiell Funeral Home.
