John F. "Jack" Rybkoski Jr., 79, died Friday. Born in Wheeling, West Virginia he had lived in the Canton/Greentown area most of his life. He was a 1960 graduate of Central Catholic High School, graduate of Stark State University, had worked for various plumbing companies until he started J.R. Plumbing and Heating in 1983. Jack was a member of Saint Paul Catholic Church, North Canton Eagles, Mechanical Contractors Association, past president of the Plumbing, Heating & Cooling Contractors and active in Local 94 Plumbing and Pipefitters and past president of PHCC. Survived by his wife of 55 years, Edie (Hartman) Rybkoski, daughter, Denise (Brad) Mager of Westerville, sons, John Rybkoski of Uniontown, Jeff Rybkoski of North Canton and Scott (Lisa) Rybkoski of Akron, grandchildren, J.T., Hannah and Matthew Rybkoski, Cullen Krombach and Alyssa Mager, sister, Connie (Joe) Scheetz of North Canton, brother, Thomas (Sheryl) Rybkoski of North Canton and numerous nieces and nephews.. Preceded in death by his parents, John and Grace Rybkoski. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Saint Paul Catholic Church with John Keehner, JCL as celebrant. Burial will be in Greentown Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Lamiell Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Saint Jude Children's Hospital.
