John Wesley McCausland

John Wesley McCausland, age 73, of North Canton, Ohio, passed away on February 12, 2026. Born on April 7, 1952, in Navarre, Ohio, he lived a life defined by hard work, loyalty, and love for his family.

A dedicated diesel mechanic for many years, John took great pride in his craft. Whether he was under the hood of a truck or lending a hand to a friend in need, he approached every task with skill, patience, and a steady determination that earned him the respect of all who knew him.

He was a proud member of the Army Navy Club, where he found friendship and a sense of community. He enjoyed the time spent with fellow members and valued the bonds formed there throughout the years.

John was a father, grandfather, and brother. His family will remember him in their own meaningful ways and carry forward the stories and moments that shaped their lives.

He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie McCausland; sons, John (Ursle) McCausland, II, Christopher (Jessica) McCausland; seven grandchildren; brother, Thomas (Sharon) McCausland; and dear friend, Pamela Shahan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Jessie (Tip[ton) McCausland.
