Joseph E. Michalovich

Joseph E. Michalovich, age 86, passed away Monday, January 23, 2017. Born May 26, 1930, he was a life resident of Canton, 1948 graduate of McKinley High School and was retired from the Timken Company after 40 plus years of service. Joe enjoyed playing euchre, hunting, fishing, polka dancing, attending Bally's and spending time with his grandsons. Survived by his wife of 64 years, Margaret, daughters, Diane Finsel and Lorene Weston, grandsons, Michael and Casey and brother, Stephen. A special thanks to the staffs of The Landing and Community Hospice for thier supportive and compassionate care. Family and friends will meet on Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Joan of Arc Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial with Father G. David Weikart as celebrant. Friends may call Friday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Community Hospice of Tuscarawas County, The Landing of Canton or Saint Joan of Arc Catholic Church.
