Judy L. Christian Russell

Judy L. Christian Russell passed away May 16, 2023. She was the daughter of Richard A. and Margaret Christian. Judy was born in Canton on August 10, 1938. She was sister to Rick (deceased), Marcia Lover, and Jane Smyth Ryan (Tim). Mother of Chris (Julie), Brad, and Doug (Liz), five grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

Judy graduated from Lehman High School and Miami University. She had two degrees – one in Education and one in Social Work. She was a teacher in North Canton and assisted cancer patients at Aultman Hospital with education and discharge planning.

Judy was very active in the community. She was a member of the Canton Junior League and managed placement for over 300 members. She was past President of Canton Woman's Club Professional Members, President of the YWCA Community Presidents, President of two Garden Clubs, and a member of the Canton Garden Center Board.
