June Lamielle

June Lamielle passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 93 years old. She was born June 14, 1928 in Ward, West Virginia. She lived in the Canton/Massillon area since 1946. June was a lover of Lipton Tea, cats, the occasional glass of wine and her family. Everyone that knew her could feel the immense amount of love she carried in her heart. She was everyone's "grandma" or "aunt". June spent her days with her beloved cat, Calle and telling everyone her life stories. June lived a long full life. Preceded in death by her husband, George "Blackie" Lamielle and 14 brothers and sisters. Survived by her children, Russ (Joanne) Lamielle, Rick Lamielle and Kathy (Larry) Rogers, seven grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, sister, Nell Carey and best friend, Dee Griffen. Friends may call Monday from 5-7 p.m. at the Lamiell Funeral Home. Private burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.
