Kathleen F. Gura Montgomery

Kathleen F. (Gura) Montgomery, age 84, died Tuesday, December 8th. Born in Youngstown she lived in Canton most of her life. She was a 1954 graduate of Struthers High School and 1957 graduate of St. Elizabeth School of Nursing and retired as Registered Nurse from Timken Mercy Medical Center, Bethany Nursing Home and the House of Loreto. She was a member of Saint Paul Catholic Church (North Canton). Preceded in death by her husband, Dean Montgomery, parents, John and Anna Marie Gura, sisters, Julia Gura, Helen Johnson, Felucitas Luke and brothers, John, Emil, Peter, Lawrence and Norman Gura. Survived by her daughters, Joan Montgomery of Poland, Ohio and Jayne Montgomery of North Canton, sisters, Regina Graygo of Youngstown, Ann Marie Fabilli of Maineville, Ohio and Monica and Marian both of Winchester, Massachusetts, brother, James (Joan) Gura of McKinney, Texas and a sister-in-law, Rose Gura of Campbell, Ohio and many nieces and nephews. We wish to extend our gratitude to John & Betsy Baum, Scott & Abbey Baum-Beigie the Baum family and entire staff at Bethany Nursing Home for their exemplary care and love of our Mom. Services were private with entombment in the North Lawn Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in her name to Bethany Nursing Home or to your favorite charity.
