Kathleen “Edith” Spehar

Kathleen "Edith" Spehar, age 92, died peacefully on Thursday, July 6, 2017. Born in Kentucky she had lived in Canton most of her life. She was retired from Sugardale Meats, a private pilot and enjoyed all crafts. Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Spehar and brothers, Emory, Ray, Wendell, Lonnie and Guy Bowling. Survived by her daughter, Barbara (Billy) McLawhorn of Tucson, Arizona, son, Phillip (Janet Bruey) Spehar of Alliance, grandchildren, Thomas James, Megan McLawhorn, Michelle (Brent) Fox, Nicole (Eric) Pelot and Joseph (Andrea) Spehar, great-grandchildren, Huxley and Blake James, Braden and Carter Fox and Levi and Eric Pelot and brother, L.B. Bowling of Massillon. Services will be Tuesday at 12 Noon in the Lamiell Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Smith officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Monday from 5-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
