Kenneth D. "Goose" Geiselman, age 72 of Canton, Ohio, passed away on May 7, 2021 at his home of natural causes. Ken was a 1966 graduate of Louisville High School and graduated from Kent State University where he played baseball for the Golden Flashes and legendary coach, Richard 'Moose' Paskert.' He also played in the former Canton Class 'A' Baseball League for 15 years, where he was known as a 5-tool power hitting outfielder. On two occasions he led the 'A' league in home runs and was a perennial all-star. Because of his talents on the diamond, Ken was inducted into the Stark County Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame in 1983. He enjoyed all sports, but especially enjoyed seeing his son Marcus play along with watching the Cleveland Indians and Browns. He was retired from the Republic Steel Company.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Ethel Geiselman of Louisville. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Marcus and Molly Geiselman and granddaughters' Marlo and Maren Geiselman. Brothers; Donald (Helen) Geiselman of Strongsville, Ohio and Robert (Elaine) Geiselman of Alliance, Ohio; along with four nieces and a nephew and other relatives.
Private services will be held at a later date.
