Kenneth D. Kuemerle

Kenneth D. Kuemerle, age 73, died Friday after a battle with several illnesses. He was a life resident of Canton, McKinley High School graduate, retired from V.S. Shuler Engineering and a Vietnam War and Desert Storm Army veteran. Survived by his wife of 51 years, Linda (Humphrey) Kuemerle, sons, Brian (Kim) Kuemerle and Shawn Kuemerle, daughter, Angela Barnett, grandchildren, Brian, Jason, Jordyn, Damian, McKennah, Cecelia, Jenna, Emily, Taylor, Erin and Cody, four great grandchildren, brother, Randy Kuemerle, many nieces and nephews, special aunt, Mary Sanders and in-laws, Peggy and Butch Boiano, Debbie and Buddy Moore and Joyce Popa.. Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mary E. Kuemerle and a brother, Ray Kuemerle. Friends may call Tuesday from 10-11 a.m. at the Lamiell Funeral Home followed by a service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Amy Downard officiating. Burial will be in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project.
