Laura M. (Grasso) Moye

Laura M. (Grasso) Moye, age 95, died Monday. Born in Rome, Italy, she lived in Canton since 1924, 1940 graduate of McKinley High School and had been a volunteer brailist for the Canton City Schools and the Library of Congress. Preceded in death by her husband, Basil J. Moye (1999) and parents, Joseph and Rose (Mercorelli) Grasso. Survived by her daughter, RoseAnn M. Ashby of Arlington, Virginia, son, Larry J. Moye of West Boylston, Massachusetts, granddaughter, Liana Rose Ashby of Arlington, Virginia and a brother, Charles F. (Alma) Grasso of Canton. Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Lamiell Funeral Home with Father Edward Beneleit officiating. Private burial in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Thursday from 9-11 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Red Cross.
