Laurie Ann (Kinkead) McRae, age 63, died Monday, December 7, 2020 after a long term illness. Born in Massillon she lived in the Canton/Rocky River area most of her life. She was a 1975 graduate of Saint Thomas Aquinas High School and graduate of Walsh University and was a Paramedic and sold jewelry at dog shows. Laurie was active in politics, helping her community with various causes and enjoyed her Massillon High School Football. Survived by her beloved husband of 17 years, Robert "Rob" McRae of Rocky River, sister, Jennifer Fletcher of Fairborn, brothers, Greg (Kris) Marino of Waynesburg, James Kinkead of Louisville, Tim (Lily) Kinkead of Taiwan, Denny (Theresa) Kinkead of North Canton, David Kinkead of Cleveland and Eddie (Heidi) Kinkead of Las Vegas, aunt, Joan Scarfone of Canton and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Lillian Kinkead. Family and friends will meet on Monday at 10 a.m. at Saint Joseph Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial with Msgr. Frank Carfagna as celebrant. Burial will be in Whitehaven Memorial Park in Mayfield Village. Friends may call Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at the Lamiell Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in her name to the Stark County Humane Society or the American Diabetes Association.
