Leland Davis

Leland Davis, age 92, died Thursday. He was a life resident of Canton, 1945 graduate of McKinley High School, was a retired carpenter, member of Saint Peter Catholic Church and a World War II Navy veteran. Preceded in death by his wife, Alice Davis, sisters, Arvada Hocken Smith, Bernice Drummond and Marvell Mullen and brothers, Hershell and Roy Davis. Survived by his daughter, Karen (John Jr.) Schaffner, son, Joseph (Debbie) Davis, grandchildren, Alison (Jesse) Hein, John (Ashley) Schaffner III and Amanda (Glen) Hahlen and great-grandchildren, Kyle and Kaelyn Hein. Services are private with burial in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Saint Peter Catholic Church.
