Lois Irene Hanood

Lois Irene Hanood passed away on March 28, 2025 and now rests in Heaven's glory. She was born on July 27, 1931 in Navarre, Ohio to her late parents, Frank and Elsie (Bair) Budner. She now joins her husband, James Hanood who preceded her in death in 1998, as well her brother, William Budner.

She is survived by many nieces, nephews, and Godchildren, whose lives she enriched and inspired.

Living a faith-filled life, she was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church most of her life. Her daily journey was one of grace, peace, and values. She was a wonderful example of the importance of faith and was a beacon of light.

Visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday, April 2, 2025 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, Lamiell Funeral Home, 1353 Cleveland Avenue, NW, Canton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at 11:00 AM, St. Joseph Church, Guardian Angels Parish, Canton. Father Edward Beneleit will serve as Celebrant. Interment will follow at St. John Catholic Cemetery, Canton.
