Lorna Nolan

August 24, 1928 — September 9, 2025

Born in Saskatchewan, Canada, Lorna Lydia (Bieber) Nolan, the youngest of eight children, died peacefully at Bethany Nursing Home on September 9, 2025, having just celebrated her 97th birthday. The family is very thankful for the kind, loving care of the Bethany staff and her three caregiver angels.

Lorna was preceded in death by her first husband, Victor Sherlokc and her second husband, Al Nolan. She is survived by her stepdaughter, Candice Wodoslawsky and stepson, Terry (Joyce) Nolan. She leaves four loving grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She had a great love for God and her church, Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. She was very active and volunteered for many church ministries with the kitchen being one of her favorites. She loved to play cards and other games and do jigsaw puzzles. She was also a pretty fair golfer in her day.

Services will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at 11:00 AM, Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Pastor Angel Jackson will be officiating. A luncheon will be served immediately following at the church. Interment will take place at Greenlawn Cemetery, Akron.

In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 2551 55th Street, NE, Canton, Ohio 44721.
