Lorraine (DeRoche) Maczka, age 73, went home to be with the Lord on July 25, 2026, at her home, surrounded by family. She was born in Canton, Ohio and lived there the majority of her life. She moved to Mogadore this year, to live across the street from her daughter. Lorraine loved shopping, purses and jewelry. She spent her working years in jewelry. spending 20 years at Craig Personal Jewelers and also working at Basil’s Jewelers and Gordon Brother’s. She also worked with her sister at the Village Corner country store.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Dorothy DeRoche and sister, Janet Burnhouse. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Don Maczka and daughter, Emily Maczka (Tori Smith). A Graveside Service will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery in Canton on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at 3:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the March of Dimes.
