LOUISE RENEE EVANS

Louise Renee Evans, 80, of Wooster, Ohio passed away on December 17, 2023, after a long illness. She was born in Steubenville, Ohio on July 28, 1943. She graduated from Orrville High School and attended Hesston College in Hesston, Kansas.

Forgoing a second year in college, she chose to spend a year in Europe traveling on an exchange program. She spent time in Germany and teaching at a children's home in France. She married John Knox Evans in the late 1960's. She worked grooming dogs for many years. She worked for FJ Designs in the 1980's and early 1990's. In 1997, she began working at Walmart in Wooster, where she would work for 21 years. She enjoyed watching the Cleveland Guardians and the Dallas Cowboys. She also enjoyed crocheting and adult coloring.

She is survived by her daughter, Lindsey Evans of Wooster, Ohio; sister, JoAnn (Nelson) Kilmer of Hesston, Kansas; brother, Darrel (Marian) Hostetler of Goshen, Indiana; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Louise's wishes, there will be no visitation or service.
