Lucille M. (Upperman) Romary

Lucille Marie Upperman Romary, age 99, died Wednesday evening at St. Joseph Senior Living Center. Born in Alliance, Ohio, she had lived in Canton and Louisville most of her life except for 23 years in Sylacauga, Alabama. Lucille was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, St. Michael Ladies Guild, the HOPE Ministry and the Columbus Women's Club. Preceded in death by her husband -- Gerald, parents -- Guy & Lulu Upperman, three sisters and five brothers, sons -- James and Thomas, son-in-law -- John Moulin, and grandson -- Michael Moulin. Survived by her children, Suzanne (Joe) Moulin-Harbert of Sylacauga, Alabama, Charlene (Mark) Michel, Jerry (Carol) Romary, Yvonne (Patrick) Willaman of Canton, and Mark (Mary) Romary of Trinity, Florida; 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren, and a sister, Joyce Michel of Louisville. Family and friends will meet for a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 10am at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church with Father Donald King as celebrant. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 9am – 10am prior to the Mass. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph Senior Living Center or the charity of your choice.
