Madonna M. "Donna" (Maurer) Ungashick, age 85, died Saturday. Born in Louisville, she had lived in Canton most of her life. She was a graduate of Louisville High School, attended the Canton College, was retired from GE Capital and was a member of Saint Michael the Archangel Catholic Church and two bowling leagues. Preceded in death by her husband, Richard J. Ungashick, daughter, Betsy, granddaughter, Ann Marie Mullikin, parents, Mello and Alice Maurer, sister, Peg Maurer and brothers, Paul, Walt and Carl Maurer. Survived by daughters, Jean (Jeff) Baker and Jane Ungashick all of Canton and Susan Mullikin of North Canton, son, Clint (Edith) Ungashick of Phoenix, Arizona, nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, sisters and brother-in-law, Mary Hoover of Louisville, Irene Price of Columbus and Lucy and Tom Jones of New Philadelphia, brother, Vernon Maurer of Louisville and sisters-in-law, Linda Garrett of Lincoln, California and Rita Maurer of North Canton. Friends may call Wednesday from 9-10 a.m. at Saint Michael the Archangel Catholic Church followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Private burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
