MARGARET LOUISE (PEG) CHANGET
Margaret Louise (Peg) Changet, 85 1/2, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving children, at her home in Hartville on January 4, 2023. Peggy was born on June 4, 1937, in Canton, Ohio, to the late Alfred and Grace (Hughes) Brumma.
She was preceded in death by Richard Changet; siblings and in-laws, Bill Brumma, Patricia Wilson, Jerry Woodcock, and Butch Morrell.
She blessed all those who knew her with her wit and dazzling smile, including Congress Lake Club members, where she was head of security for over 20 years. A member of Basilica of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Peg was a woman of unwavering faith.
She leaves those who survive with joyful memories; daughters, Christine Traina of North Canton, Shelley (Jeff) Green of Columbus, Gina Donofrio of Fairview Park; sons, Brad (Helen) Changet of Lancaster, Todd (Merrilee) Changet of Kokomo, Indiana; 16 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, who were priceless in her eyes; sisters, Jean Woodcock, Barbara Knapp, Sheryl (Tom) Rybkoski, Maureen Morrell; brothers, Fred (Janet) Brumma, Bob (Nippy) Brumma; brother-in-law, Ron Wilson; sister-in-law, Grace Brumma; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Peg was an amazing woman full of love and playfulness. Her kindness and laughter were infectious. She loved snowmen, scrabble, family and Jesus.
She has a special place in her heart for her grandchildren: Jake Changet, Luke (Michelle) Kowaletti, Grace Changet, Carly (James) Wynn, Daniel Traina, Mario (Kenzie) Traina, John Traina, David (Deborah )Changet, Andrew (Jessica) Changet, Matthew (Alisha) Changet, Benjamin Changet, Elena Donofrio, Anthony Donofrio, Nick Donofrio, Dominic Donofrio, Gianna Donofrio and great grandchildren: Ollie, Anastasia, Philip, Penny, Cassie, Tatiana, Xenia, Natalie, Coletta and the two on the way. She also enjoyed visits from her granddog, Ginger Louise Green.
Being the oldest of nine, then having five children of her own, she spent her lifetime graciously caring for others. We rejoice knowing that it is finally her turn to be cared for in the arms of the Lord.
