Margaret A. "Peggy" Poland Degordon,

Margaret A. "Peggy" Poland DeGordon, age 69, died Friday after a short illness. She was a life resident of the Canton/Massillon area, had worked at ACME Pharmacy, member of HighMill Church of the Resurrection and former member of Parents Without Partners. Survived by her husband, Michael W. DeGordon; daughter, Michelle Lee Poland Hanning; two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, sisters, Rose Mary (Gary) Sharp and Geraldine "Gerry" (John) Swigert and brother, Roger Nixon. Preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Margaret Nixon. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. at HighMill Church of the Resurrection. Services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at HighMill Church of the Resurrection. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to HighMill Church of the Resurrection.
