Margaret Hinnebusch
Age 86, died on May 30th after a life filled with love for everyone. She was born in Canton to John and Margaret (Schweizer) Dorsch. A sister, Katherine (Dorsch) Pudloski - fourteen months younger than she, preceded her in death. She leaves behind her son, John Robert Motter, who was her health care giver, whom she called "a living angel" because of the outstanding care and love he gave to her. She also leaves behind her three nephews (sons of Katherine); John, Michael, and Mark Pudloski. Her husband, Robert Motter, retired from Republic Steel. He had Parkinson's disease for twenty years. Margaret was very active in running the Parkinson's Disease Association here in Canton, providing speakers and activities for the group's meetings. Margaret was a blood donor until her own health began to fail. When her mother could not live alone due to poor health, Margaret and Bob invited her to live with them for eight years until she died at the age of 89. Two years after Robert died, Margaret married Raymond Hinnebusch, whose wife had died of Parkinson's disease. Being married to Ray brought her into St. Michael's parish. Margaret was very active at her church. She was a member of the R.C.I.A; she distributed the Eucharist to the sick in their homes and in nursing homes; she was a lector, an usher and a leader of prayer. Margaret taught school until her 80th year. After teaching school age children, she proceeded in her education earning her Master of Education. She taught classes at Kent State Stark and Stark State. She became employed by Canton City School's Literary Program. She never had a student she didn't love saying, "There is a beauty in every person I am privileged to teach." Her health began to fail, and she retired from teaching at the Salvation Army. Her last years were spent at home in Canton, where her one and only son cared for her. She passed away peacefully at the Canton Christian Home where she received outstanding good care for her final six months. She will be missed.
