Marilyn J. Heighway

Loving wife, mother, grandmother, age 88, passed away on Thursday. She was born in Canton, Ohio, and graduated from Lehman High School of which she was and an avid member of the Class of 1948 Alumni group. She was preceded by her husband, (Francis) Chuck Heighway, survived by her sister, Gloria (Whitmer) Hummel and brother, Robert (Donna) Whitmer, daughter, Mary Lynn Adamski, sons, John (Cindy) Heighway, James (Julie) Heighway, Joel (Beth) Heighway, along with grandchildren, Joy and Sean Adamski, Rae (Matt) Hamilton, Corree (Mark) Miracola, JC (Brittany) Heighway, Andrew, Krista, John, Scott, Emma, Grace, Sam Heighway and nine great-grandchildren. Friends may call Tuesday from 10-11 a.m. at Christ the Servant Parish (Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church) followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with Monsignor Lewis Gaetano as celebrant. Burial will be in North Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canton Christian Home or Aultman Hospice.
