Marjorie E. Harper

Marjorie Elizabeth (Long) Harper, age 76, of Brewster passed away Saturday January 7th at Aultman Hospital. She was born on March 5th, 1940 in Canfield, OH to Elgie C. Long and Beulah R. Hudkins. She was a graduate of Pleasant City High School and married her high school sweetheart, Gary L. Harper on June 7th 1958. She worked as a physical therapist at Chapel Hill Nursing Home in Canal Fulton and in later years she worked at WalMart in Brevard, North Carolina before returning home to Ohio. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother full of grace, full of kindness and full of life. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Gary L. Harper, daughter Roxanne Russell and brother Richard Long. She is survived by her son Russell and Jolane Harper of East Sparta, OH, and daughters Rhonda and Michael O'Bradovich of East Sparta, Ohio, Shelly and Brad Bhe of Rineyville, KY, brothers Robert and Carolyn Long of Hartville, OH, Larry and Wanda Long of Senecaville, OH, 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday January 12th, 2017 at Lamiell Funeral Home, 1353 Cleveland Ave., NW, Canton, OH.
