Marlene A. (Porter) Trissel

March 9, 1933 — September 16, 2022

Marlene A. (Porter) Trissel, 89, passed away peacefully in to the loving arms of Jesus on Friday. She was a life resident of Canton, retired from the Ohio Auto Club in Canton and a member of First Friends Church. Survived by her husband, Richard T. "Dick" Trissel, daughter, Kathleen A. Trissel, sons, Robert T. and William C. (Sally Anne) Trissel, step-children, Willis Nelson and Jason and Christopher Thompson, three step-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by a brother, Robert Porter. Friends may call Tuesday from 10-11 a.m. at First Friends Church followed by a service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Nathanael officiating. Private burial will in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Stark County Humane Society.
