Mary Anne Bagley

June 19, 1939 — April 9, 2017

Mary Anne Bagley, age 77, died Sunday after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's. Born in West, West Virginia, she had lived in Canton most of her life. Mary Anne was a 1957 graduate of Central Catholic High School and was retired as a secretary from Saint Peter Catholic Church. She was a member of Saint Peter Catholic Church where she was very active. Her passions in life were her family, traveling with family, cooking, sewing, crafts, reading and collecting Santa Claus's. Survived by her husband of 60 years, Lloyd R. "Coach" Bagley, Jr., daughters, Mary Alice (Mike) Nadeau of Savannah, Georgia, Molly Anne (Joe Grecni) Moriarty of Canton and Margaret Aileen "Maggie" (Danny) Bradshaw of Mansfield, sons, Michael Andrew (Bernadette Kraynick) Bagley of East Sparta, Mark Alan (Christine) Bagley of Alliance, and Matthew Arin (Gretchen) Bagley of Navarre, grandchildren, Brian (Angie) Moriarty, Nathan (Regina) and Michael Jr. (Erica) Nadeau, and Shawn (Morgan), Lauren (Mat Marrash), Andrew (Libby Lair), Arin and Alec Bagley, five great-grandchildren, sister, Patricia (Timothy) Rombach of Zoar, brother-in-law, John (Nancy) Bagley of Canton, and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Fairy Clark, sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Daniel Sydor and great-grandson, Liam Patrick Moriarty. The family would like to thank the staffs of Saint Joseph Care Center and Crossroads Hospice for their care. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 12 Noon at Saint Peter Catholic Church with Father Edward Beneleit and Father Joseph Witmer as celebrants. Burial will be in Saint Peter Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at the Lamiell Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Saint Thomas Aquinas Athletic Fund or the Alzheimer's Association.
