Mary Amy Biedenbach, "Amy", 78, departed from this life and joined the heavenly angels on Sunday, April 9, 2017. Born in Temperanceville, Ohio on May 28, 1938 to Walter and Madeline (Pfeffer) Schumacher. A resident of Canton, Ohio since 1957, Amy devoted her life to her family and her faith. She was a proud mother and grandmother and served as President of the Altar & Rosary Society at Little Flower Catholic Church for the past nine years. Amy enjoyed planting flowers around her house, working with her friends at church, and attending her grandkids many activities. Preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Arthur Biedenbach and sister Margaret Welsh. Survived by children Stephen, Thomas, Nancy (Dr. Mark) Hudak, Jeffery, Charles, Sarah (Shawn) Isla, and Dr. Rachel (Dr. Reno) Alessio; grandchildren Maddie, Lydia, Celeste and Blaine Hudak, Nathan Biedenbach, Morgan Isla, and Alaina, Vivian, Gianna, Celia and Aria Alessio; siblings Daniel (Barb) Schumacher, Rita (Donald) Biedenbach, Jane Landefeld, Joe (Bobbie) Schumacher, Michael Schumacher, Monica Habig, Samuel (Jill) Schumacher; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet on Monday at 11 a.m. at Little Flower Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial with Father Leo Wehrlin as celebrant. Entombment will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens Mausoleum. Friends may call Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at the Lamiell Funeral Home and Monday from 10-11 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Littler Flower Altar and Rosary Society.
