Mary Patricia (O'Neill) Blubaugh

Mary Patricia (O'Neill) Blubaugh, age 89, died Monday. Born in Dayton on July 8, 1928 she was the eldest child of Bernard and Elizabeth O'Neill and had lived in Canton most of her life. She was a 1946 graduate of Mt. Marie Academy and former member of Walsh University Women's Committee. Preceded in death by her husband, Claude Blubaugh, brothers Eugene and Pat O'Neill and sisters, Betty Mylett and Alice Kennedy. Survived by her daughters, Diane Blubaugh of Minerva and Claudia (Jack) Amrhein of Kent, grandsons, Matt (Raquel) Amrhein of Kent and Josh (Hao) Amrhein of Wooster, sister, Rosalie Helline of Massillon, sister-in-law, Judy O'Neill of Canton, brother-in-law, Richard Kennedy of Canton and many loving nieces and nephews. Friends may call Saturday from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at the House of Loreto followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:30 p.m. with Father Edward Beneleit as celebrant. Private burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the House of Loreto.
