MARY SHARON BROOKS

Mary Sharon Brooks nee St. Peter, passed away on March 6, 2023 at the age of 83 years old. Sharon was born in Gross Point Farms, Michigan and graduated from St. Gertrude's High School. She received her RN training at Mercy School of Nursing, followed later in life, with a B.A. from Malone College.

After moving to Canton, OH she raised six children, nurturing their many interests and talents. On many holidays the Brooks girls sported matching outfits that Sharon had sewn or crocheted. The Brooks boys were allowed to perform a wide range of science experiments without burning down the house.

After retirement, she owned and operated Marie's Majestic Miniatures with her daughter, Sheryl. Sharon enjoyed gardening and traveling, including visits to see her sons in Switzerland and Russia. In recent years she became a Cleveland Guardians fan and rarely missed watching a game.

Preceding her in death; her parents, Clarence and Elizabeth Mary (Moore) St. Peter; husband, James; her brother, Gregory; and sister, Mary Beth Collins. Survivors include her six children; Kevin Brooks (Mandy), Keith Brooks, Sheryl Hartz (Doug), Kelly Tannen (Rob), Kris Brooks, and Patrick Brooks (Elena); two sisters, Kim Schoen (Jeff) and Denise Witherow (Michael); and seven grandchildren.

As per Sharon's request, no funeral or memorial will be held. Please spend some quality time with your family. In lieu of flowers plant a tree.

Sharon's family offers a special thank you to Michelle, Jennifer and Karen with Aultman's hospice team; Patti, Lori and all the others who provided comfort in the last months.
