Mary Jane "Mj" Chadwick

Mary Jane "MJ" Chadwick, age 71, died Monday after a long illness. Born in Washington, Missouri, she had lived in the Canton area most of her life. She had worked at Higbee's/Dillard's and was a member of the Meyers Lake YMCA (CYC). MJ enjoyed gardening and animals but her family was the love of her life. Survived by her husband of 52 years, John E. Chadwick, daughter, Angela (Sam Creech) Chadwick of Canton, son, Stephen (Nesli) Chadwick of Germany, grandchildren, Aslan and Aylin Chadwick and special little friend, Sarah Creech. Preceded in death by sisters, June Hansel and Joyce Yeary and brother, Sonny Wagner. Friends may call Sunday from 2-4 pm at the Lamiell Funeral Home. Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. with Pastor Gary Smith officiating. After the service all are invited to the American Legion Post 44. Private burial will be in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to American Legion Post 44.
