Mary M. (Lahr) Gill

Mary M. (Lahr) Gill, age 88, died Friday. She was a life resident of Canton, 1948 graduate of Lehman High School, retired from Plain Local Schools and was a member of Christ the Servant Parish. Preceded in death by her husband, Walter P. Gill, son, Dennis Gill, parents, Otto and Margaret Lahr, sister, Joan Harold and brother, Lewis Lahr. Survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Dianne Moreau of Canton, Kathleen and Garry McConnell of Stow and Marcia and Dave Thomas of Cuyahoga Falls, son and daughters-in-law, Walter P. Jr. "Rusty" and Janet Gill of Canton and Marlene Gill of Texas, 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and sister-in-law, Wanda Lahr of Navarre. Friends may call Monday from 5-7 p.m. at the Lamiell Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Christ the Servant Parish for a Mass of Christian Burial with Monsignor Lewis Gaetano as celebrant. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the House of Loreto.
