Mary Ann Gursky

Mary Ann Gursky, age 83, died Friday, July 1, 2016. She was a life resident of Canton and a member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church. Mary and her husband Mark, established Gursky Aluminum and Vinyl. Mary was instrumental in managing the business aspects of the company all while raising seven children. Preceded in death by her husband, Mark Gursky, sister, Ruth Bowers and brothers, Herman, William, Raymond and Thomas Preusser. Survived by her daughters, Paula (William) Smith of Massillon, Laura (Mitchell) Weber of Akron and Barbara (William) Bentler of North Canton, sons, Steven (Terri) Gursky of Canton, Mark (Denise) Gursky of North Canton, Michael (Lisa) Gursky and Philip (Theresa) Gursky of Canton, 18 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, sisters, Rita Spore of Canton and Jo Ann (John) Catlin of Navarre and brother, Richard (Shirley) Preusser of Canton. Family and friends will meet for a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Saint Joseph Catholic Church with Monsignor Frank Carfagna as celebrant. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 9-10 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Saint Joseph Catholic Church.
