Mary Jane Plott

Mary Jane Plott, age 92, died Saturday after a brief illness. She was a life resident of Canton and retired from Master Touch Cleaners. Mary Jane was a member of the Basilica of Saint John the Baptist, Saint John's Guild which she was a past president and AARP. Preceded in death by her husbands, William F. Bausher and Emerson R. Plott, two sons, Mark A. Plott Sr. and Lewis J. Plott, grandson, Emerson R. Plott III, parents, Charles and Leonora (Loichot) Scheurer, two sisters, Lucille Kraus and Stella Schrader and four brothers, Ray, Leo, Fred and Bernard Scheurer. Survived by a daughter, Virginia Plott, three sons, Frederick C. Bausher, E. Ralph Plott Jr. and Daniel L. Plott all of Canton, 15 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Basilica of Saint John the Baptist with The Very Reverend Ronald Klingler as celebrant. Burial will be in Saint John Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Lamiell Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Basilica of Saint John the Baptist Bereavement Committee.
