Mary Ann (Todd) Ziegler, age 85, died Thursday after a short illness. Born in Cleveland, she had lived in Canton most of her life. She was a graduate of Ursuline College, member of Saint Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, an avid Bridge player and an excellent cook. Survived by her husband of 63 years, Jack Ziegler, daughters, Patricia (John) Streb of Canton and Susie (Greg) DeFisher of Cincinnati, son, John (Kris) Ziegler Jr. of Canton, grandchildren, Kevin (Marisa), Michael (Tiffany) and Andrew Streb, Katie, John III (Kelly) and Megan Ziegler and Nicholos Neesley, great-grandchildren, Jack, Austin, Alexis, Michael, and Mason Streb and Amelia Ziegler, and brother and sisters-in-law, Hal (Susi) Todd of Bluffton, South Carolina and Carol Todd Rose of Anderson, South Carolina. Preceded in death by her daughter, Betsy Ziegler Neesley, parents, Harold and Bernadette Todd and brothers, Chuck and Bob Todd. Family and friends will meet on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Saint Michael the Archangel Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial with Father Donald King as celebrant. Private burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 6-8 p.m. at the Lamiell Funeral Home and Tuesday from 9-10 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Central Catholic High School Scholarship Fund or Central Catholic High School Capital Fund.
