Her faith was not only a guiding star in her life but also a source of comfort and inspiration for those around her.

Michelle Anne Kirsch, 70, of Canton, OH, peacefully departed this life on August 11, 2026. Born on July 10, 1956, she proudly graduated from Massillon Washington High School, Class of 1974, and carried the values learned during those formative years throughout her life.

Michelle devoted her career to uplifting others, working diligently at Applecreek Developmental Center, The Health Plan in Massillon, and the Rhoda Wise House & Grotto. Her professional journey was a testament to her unwavering commitment to making a positive impact in her community. A deeply spiritual individual, Michelle was an active member of the Basilica of Saint John the Baptist and Saint Peter Parish in Canton.

Her faith was not only a guiding star in her life but also a source of comfort and inspiration for those around her.

In her personal life, Michelle found immense joy in sewing and crocheting, crafting beautiful items that reflected her creativity and thoughtfulness. She cultivated meaningful friendships, becoming a treasured companion to many who were fortunate enough to know her.

Michelle is survived by her loving husband, Michael E. Kirsch; her children, Eric M. Snyder (Cristina Lidderdale), Miranda M. (Larry) Ricker, Christopher M. (Ashley) Kirsch, Ian M. Kirsch, and Shana Bergman; sister, Brenda K. (Carl) Wise; brother, Robert W. Snyder; and her beloved grandchildren, Cloee, Carson, Isaac, Isabelle Snyder, Morgan, Scarlett, and Kacie Kirsch, Alex and Lazra Kirsch. She was predeceased by her parents, Herbert L. Snyder and Velda F. (Burtt) Snyder; as well as her brother, Jeffrey A. Snyder. Additional family members include her loving in-laws.

Family, friends, and loved ones are invited for visitation on Friday, August 14, 2026, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, Lamiell Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 11:00 am, St. Peter Catholic Church, with Father Brian Smith serving as Celebrant. Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery.
