Monte D. Cochran

Monte D. Cochran, of Canton, Ohio, passed away August 14, 2024, after living an extraordinary life for 95 years. He was born May 21, 1929, in Canton, Ohio, to the late Horace Cochran and Ruth Overholt Cochran. His brothers, Billy and Burt also precede him in death.

Monte was a graduate, earning his bachelor's degree from the San Jose City College in California. He was a veteran serving in the US Army and worked as a furniture upholsterer He had a great love for his family, enjoyed traveling, and playing golf

whenever he could. While at home, he loved spending time with his wife, their dog Chipper, and his cat. Monte and Mary would frequently attend car shows together. It was said that wherever there was an old car, Monte could be found

Monte's memory will forever be cherished by those who survive; wife, Mary M. McGlothlin; children, John Cochran and Andrea (Don) Jeffers.

Honoring Monte's wishes, there will be no service and interment will take place privately at his family's convenience.
