Myrna L. Gemma, 93, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family, March 18, 2026. She lived a long, full life marked by kindness, devotion, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys that made each day beautiful.
Born with a gentle spirit and a strong work ethic, she spent many years as a dedicated secretary and proud owner alongside her husband, Frank, and her children of Midas Automotive Service, formerly of Canton and North Canton. Her professionalism and attention to detail made her a valued colleague and a trusted friend to many.
Outside of work, she found her greatest happiness in the things that connected her to the world around her. She adored her family and cherished every moment spent with them. Animals held a special place in her heart. She was also an avid gardener, tending her flowers with care and delight. Fresh‑cut blooms from her own garden were her signature touch—brightening her home and the lives of those she shared them with.
She will be remembered for her gentle wisdom, her unwavering love, and the beauty she cultivated in every corner of her life.
She is survived by her loving family, all of whom cherished her deeply and will forever hold her memory close to their hearts: daughter, Christine Scott of Canton; sons, Frank Gemma of North Canton and Anthony (Mary) Gemma of Canton; grandchildren, Jessica Gemma and Paul (Christina) Gemma; and sister-in-law, Annie Stonestreet of Florida
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Gemma; parents, Harold and Hazel Moon; and son, Michael Gemma.
Honoring Myrna’s wishes, services will be private. Burial will take place at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery, Canton
